There Will Be Russian Helicopter and Automobile Factories in Jordan
Vladimir Putin in the course of his visit to Jordan met the king Abdalla II. The parties prepared an agreement for establishment in the territory of
Jordan of two plants for assembly of VAZ cars and light multi-purpose helicopters Ka-226.
On February 13 in the city of Amman the President of Russia and the Jordan monarch signed an agreement for establishment of the Russian-Jordan Business
Council and held its first meeting.
In addition, at the meeting the question of incentives and mutual protection of capital investments was discussed. Also a number of other agreements were
concluded as regards further strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
