At the end of January the Xth World Cup for Confectionery of the International HORECA show took place in Lion.
Skillful confectioners from two dozens countries including Russia took part in the event. The juri consisting of 22 specialists – gastrologists of
the world level decided who merited the title of the best tamer of the sweet-tooth. The strict commission of judges was headed by the confectioner
Christoph Michal. Within the framework of the event the gastrologists from various countries of the world came to the unanimous opinion: the most
extraordinary and delicious confectionery was cooked by gastrologists from Japan. The winners were rewarded golden medals, the cup and the check
for Euro 12 thousand. In the last year’s competition for the most delicious confectionery the winners were French.
