TransLink Blogging Contest Wraps Up
The contest was conducted as part of the first project of the Russian Live Journal, which is devoted to the translation of the blogs of foreign
celebrities into Russian. The submitted works included photographs of participants taken with well-known personalities.
For an entire month, bloggers sent us their photographs with stars. Based on the results of the voting , Yelena from Ufa, who writes in our blog
under the user name de_lightful was chosen the winner. Yelena managed to get her picture taken with a member of the group Rasmus (incidentally,
those interested in this group can read a translation of their song lyrics in the “Translations of popular songs” section at
http://www.t-link.ru/ru/extra/translation/list.htm.
Yelena received 2 tickets to the international Maxidrom festival, which will be held in Moscow in Olympic Stadium on 14 June 2008. The special guest
of the Maxidrom will be Lenny Kravitz.
The awarding of the contest prize could not have come at a better time—it fell on the day after Yelena's birthday. We congratulate the winner and
thank all the participants for their interest in our contest!
