22 April is Translink's Fifth Anniversary. We are starting our anniversary raffle
Today our company marks its 5th anniversary. Keeping with tradition, for this special day we have prepared gifts for all of our clients.
Our anniversary raffle begins on 22 April and will continue for an entire month. All clients of TransLink placing an order in this period will receive
gifts. The gifts will be discount cards with no expiration date (5% and 10%) or a one-time discount of 20% on all translation or interpreting services.
The discount cards will be raffled off. Which one you get will be, we hope, a pleasant surprise.
Over the years, we have been successful in winning the trust of many large clients—government organizations, state institutions, international concerns
and corporations, stars of cinema, sports and show business.
In 2004 we officially began our work. During that same year the champion synchronous swimmers Anastasia Davydova and Anastasia Yermakova became
our clients, along with Richard Gere and other stars. We were admitted to the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia and opened a branch office in
St. Petersburg.
In 2005 we actively promoted the interpreting profession. At the Atrium Cinema we held a screening of the film The Interpreter for the press and
a press conference devoted to the 450th anniversary of interpreting activities in Russia and co-organized the annual Miss State University of Management
(SUM) 2005 beauty contest, adding the new category "Miss TransLink Interpreter".
Many media outlets took interest in us thanks to our rapid growth and high-profile events, including Forbes Russia, which published a long interview
with our General Director Alexei Gerin.
The year 2006 was Year of the G8 for us, as we provided interpreting services at all of their events throughout the year. That same year we were
the official interpreting agency of the Tula Economic Forum and the Third Russo-Chinese Investment Forum. Our interpreters interpreted for Paulo Coelho,
Bruce Willis and Oliver Stone.
We continued our mission to increase the prestige of the interpreting and translation professions, presenting the film Russian Translation to a
professional audience and launching an industry newspaper about the market of interpreting and translation services and the interpreting and translating
professions called PereVesti.
2007. We took part in the 15th Session of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum and the First World Social Security Forum as the official
interpreting and translating agency of these events. Other clients included Sakhalin II, Siemens, Elton John, the Rolling Stones, and stars of
European football including AC Milan, Real Madrid, PSV Eindhoven and Lokomotiv at the RZD Cup.
We launched the website www.perevestinews.ru, devoted to news of the interpreting and translation market, and our corporate website www.t-link.ru
won first place in the Golden Website 2007 contest for the Central Federal District. On International Native Language Day we held a themed press
conference and took the initiative to hold a new national holiday in Russia called Russian Language Day.
In addition, we began to grow abroad and opened an office in Ukraine.
2008. We launched a joint series of broadcasts called Communication Language on the radio station Moscow Speaking, took first place in the ranking
of the media activeness of interpreting and translation agencies, and began the first project in the Russian Live Journal devoted to translating the blogs
of foreign celebrities into Russian. This year we also opened an office in Switzerland.
On the day of the 5th anniversary of our founding, we thank all of our clients and partners for cooperating with us, wish them success, prosperity,
robust health and inexhaustible optimism!
